Ranger Farming...
Ive been away from the game for a while and was wondering if there are any good solo/duo farms that are still doable for rangers.
Would like to know if duo trap is still doable after update.
Thanks!

I think you can still trap some profitable areas: UW (they say, but I never had much luck with it, being unwilling to blow 1k per attempt to get it right), and that one area in the Domain of Anguish (the red one with the big-toothed, tentacled... so yeah) for gemstones.
In many (but not all) areas you can also spirit farm. Throw on an expertise mask and go to town. Comes in handy with Nicholas farming.

You could go R/E terra and make a decent amount of money from cores at Glint's Challange (you need to have EOTN).

Ranger spirit farming is pretty lucrative for nicholas items (depends on the week, though). The UW solo trapping doesn't really work too well anymore...the skeletons pretty much nixed that. A pretty nice farm that not many people mention is the R/E burning arrow FoW forest farm. Once you get good at running to the actual forest, the drops are pretty great.
R/E raptor farming is probably your best bet, though...especially during event weekends. Just merch all the drops you get and sell the unidentified golds.

R/A Shadowform + Whirling Defense is a nice combo. You can farm pretty much any range attacking foe (as long as there are no healers).

I recommend going here: http://www.therangersbeacon.com
Duo trapping works but has become incredibly slow, duo R/Rt spirit builds however are not. :]

You can find the build right here:
http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:Any/...ptor_HM_Farmer
Just replace mental block with whirling defense. It's listed as good, but once you get the hang of things it's great.
Cast armor of mist and glyph of sac before you enter the cave. Then, while running in the cave aggro the two patrolling groups of raptor nestlings on the way to the boss group (Broodmother). Right before glyph of sac runs out, cast mist form, followed by whirling, then magnetic aura, then air of superiority. Follow that up with another glyph of sac attempt (to draw out the interrupts, if you get it off lucky you) followed by sliver armor and the ebon vanguard skill. Target the broodmother to increase your chances of sliver armor targeting her. You get a recharge once you kill her, so make sure to renew whirling and magnetic aura and air of superiority, then glyph of sac sliver armor again before it runs out. Once you kill all or most of the nestlings in the big group you clumped, gather your drops and hit /resign.
You can normally get the 25 kills needed for the asuran point bonus. Runs are quick, albeit there is a small chance of failure (lucky interrupts, mostly).
